During my web surfing, in this couple of month, I saw a very interesting and amusing idea called Sun Project Blackbox and cause of my brand new weblog... I must write about it!
The idea is amusing, a shipping container that is a real datacenter containing a cluster or whatever you want (a SAN, an HPC cluster, a web farm, ...).
Why a shipping container? Its safely and easily deployable everywhere within traditional shipping services.
Once deployed? Just plug the cable and start your business.
Do you need more horsepower? Just plug another Blackbox... easy.
